Kevils Speed Shop Bobber

This lovely BMW Boxer Bobber??,was at the Paignton Bike Festival, built by Kevils Speed Shop who reside in Paington, and specialise in Beemers.  I really like the clean lines, shiny tank, and functionality of it.

Over the bank holiday weekend we ventured further into deepest Cornwall, normally at this time of year its wise to steer clear of anything further down the A30, as it just gets so busy with idiots, sorry tourists, but off we went.  Stayed in St Ives for the night, then next day went down to Sennen Cove, couldn't believe how quiet it was, bloody windy though!!  We went for a walk up onto the headland where the coastguard lookout is and from there you get some amazing views, ruined only by Lands End!!  The shipwreck was amazing, I think it dates back to the '80s, and just shows the power of the sea, (CLICHE ALERT, CLICHE ALERT!!!), I hate boats and going out in the bloody things, but whenever I see an RNLI charity box I always lob a couple of quid in, as I have the greatest respect for the volunteers that man the lifeboats, and what they do, risking their lives to save others.

Paignton Bike Festival 2015, Root Beer Bobber

Went up to Paignton, (its on the English riviera don't you know!), bike festival on Friday night, and one of the first bikes I saw was this, The Root Beer Bobber, which I'm pretty sure was featured in Back Street Heroes last year, very clean and simple with nice lines.  I think the owner is a deep sea diver, whence the "going down to stay afloat". I was on the COURTESY BIKE OF THE APOCALYPSE, and on the way home I went through Saltash tunnel, this tunnel is not very long, but it is 3 lanes wide, and the acoustics are fantastic if you're on something LOUD.  Coming the other way was a softtop porsche thingy, and as he came into the tunnel he gave the throttle a few healthy blips to enjoy the noise, I felt obliged to answer him by doing the same with the throttle of the COURTESY BIKE OF THE APOCALYPSE, I won.
