Managed to get out on the bike a couple of weekends ago, makes all the difference when the sun is shining, despite the muddy local roads, undoing the pre-ride wash, dammit. As I was coming back along the A30, (dual carriageway), it really made me appreciate why I love motorbikes, THE SPEED, just flowing along, at a "brisk" pace, and still another 7000 rpm until the redline, smashing.
brilliant jan, that's what it's all about, fingers white with cold, no feeling in the toe's, carb's icing and slippy, salt laden road's, low sunshine and greasy visor's, no leaves on the road's, [there all over the road instead!] big-up's mate, respect due......
