Sunday, went out on a little "mission" to see a friend of mine playing in a pub at lunch time, didn't go very far, but it was dry, ice free, and good fun, (bye bye BMW!!).  I know its only a 14 year old 600, (now sold as a sports tourer),  but it always amuses how bloody fast it is, hours of fun, and the flames and pops from the exhaust on overrun just add to the fun.

Winter Ride

Managed to get out on the bike a couple of weekends ago, makes all the difference when the sun is shining, despite the muddy local roads, undoing the pre-ride wash, dammit.  As I was coming back along the A30, (dual carriageway), it really made me appreciate why I love motorbikes, THE SPEED, just flowing along, at a "brisk" pace, and still another 7000 rpm until the redline, smashing.
